She was the daughter of Andrew Stewart, 2nd Lord Stewart of Ochiltree and Agnes Cuninghame. 1 She married, firstly, John Knox in March 1564. 2 She married, secondly, Sir Andrew Ker of Faldonside between 8 January 1573 and 1574. 2 She died after 1612.

His daughter married John Knox and he played a part in the defeat of Mary, Queen of Scots at the battle of Langside. Biography. Andrew's father, Andrew Stewart, 2nd Lord Avondale, exchanged his lands and title to become Lord Ochiltree.
