The marriages of Francis Manners, 6th Earl of Rutland, the family tragedy, and the marriage of his daughter Katherine Manners to the Duke of Buckingham are described on his tomb at St Mary the Virgin's Church, Bottesford. She was a daughter of Sir John Tufton and Catherine Browne. She first married Sir Edward Hungerford. He died in 1607.
