  2. Saint Mary’s School has been a leader in education for young women since its founding in Raleigh in 1842. With the support of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, the Rev. Aldert Smedes founded Saint Mary’s as a school for young women, "designed to furnish a thorough and excellent education equal to the best that can be obtained in the city of New York, or in any Northern school."

  3. St Mary's Town & Country School Students Art Gallery Whilst it is obvious that The Town & Country School encouraged us to be creative in many fields, it seems to me that it was talented pupils, as well as the teachers, that made the school into such a remarkably fertile melting pot.

  4. Mary's School in in England and closed in about 1982. Ideally there should be convincing in-line citations, but occasionally people get added to like these though the "I knew him, he was in my year, or, someone told me about him" approach.
