Staff indicators. Tadcaster Grammar School is a non-selective academy. It has about 1,510 boys and girls aged between 11 and 18. In October 2022 the school was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The present school opened in 2018. This school is a member of The Star Multi Academy Trust. ( Sherburn High School is also a member.)
Teaching Staff. Lockers. We recommend students have their own locker to keep equipment and belongings safe, and to help reduce the likelihood of lost property. Unfortunately, NYC do not provide transport for local Tadcaster students living less than 3 miles from school and in the normal catchment area – this is therefore the responsibility of the parent (s). Excellent value, single, return or weekly tickets can be purchased on the local Tadcaster bus T2 (Church Fenton to TGS) run by York Pullman.
