  5. 17 de ene. de 2013 · Leon Fleisher and George Szell recorded the Brahms and Beethoven piano concertos for Columbia in the 60's. They are the reference recordings of these concerti. There is something transcendent in these readings, especially in the Brahms. Much like the Serkin/Szell recordings of the Brahms, convention, mannerisms, and routine are out the window.
