4 de jul. de 2022 · Lord John Frederick Gordon Hallyburton GCH (15 August 1799 – 29 September 1878) was a Scottish naval officer and Member of Parliament. He was born the Honourable John Frederick Gordon , third son of George Gordon, 5th Earl of Aboyne by his wife Catherine Anne, daughter of Sir Charles Cope, 2nd Baronet.
He was buried in Kensal Green cemetery.10 His will, of which his nephew and successor as Member for Forfarshire, Lord John Frederick Gordon Hallyburton (d.1878), was the main beneficiary, was proved under £100 in London, 16 June 1842, and £27,000 in Ireland in 1843.

Lord John Frederick Gordon-Hallyburton (1799–1878), an Admiral of the British Navy who married Lady Augusta (née FitzClarence) Kennedy-Erskine, the widow of Hon. John Kennedy-Erskine (second son of Archibald Kennedy, 1st Marquess of Ailsa), sister of George FitzClarence, 1st Earl of Munster, and fourth daughter of King William IV and his mistress Dorothea Jordan, in 1836.
They had three children before he died in 1831. Five years later, she married Lord Frederick Gordon, the third son of the 9th Marquess of Huntly. After the death of her sister Sophia in 1837, Augusta was appointed State Housekeeper of Kensington Palace by her father. She was the mother of the novelist Wilhelmina FitzClarence, Countess of Munster.
