17 de may. de 2019 · 17 May 2019. The first eight rear crew graduated from the Defence Helicopter Flying School (DHFS) at RAF Shawbury at a special parade. This graduation marks another important milestone within the rotary element of UK Military Flying Training System (UKMFTS). The Graduates with the Reviewing Officer Air Vice-Marshal Warren James.
This phase consists of 40 flying hours of elementary fixed- wing flying training over 14 weeks on the Slingsby Firefly (260). 22 de sept. de 2023 · A parade has been held at RAF Shawbury to celebrate the graduation of 22 aircrew from No.1 Flying Training School. The completion of training, which included the award of the flying badge (“wings”) to those eligible, represents a significant step in the careers of trainees who will now proceed to operational conversion (OCU) training on frontline helicopter types.
