Dr. Anthony Addington passed away on March 22, 1790 in Fringford. He was buried with his late wife, Mary Hiley Addington in the St. Michaels and All Angels Churchyard. Inside the church, there is an inscription reading: "In this place are interred the remains of Anthony Addington, M.D., who died March 22nd, 1790, aged 76 years, and of Mary, his wife, who died November 7th, 1778.
