Applicants must have a minimum unweighted high school grade point average of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale at the end of their junior year of high school with the expectation that the applicant maintain academic success through their high school graduation. Applicants must complete and submit an application by the application deadline.

  6. An early admission student is a student in high school who wants to earn college credits prior to graduating high school. Please note that students who enroll at Marshall University to earn early credits prior to high school graduation have not been admitted as freshman and are not eligible for financial aid or on-campus housing.

  7. The Marshall University Honor Band Festival will be held February 17-19, 2022. The Honor Band Festival is an event developed for the purpose of recognizing the achievements of exceptional high school musicians and provide an opportunity to work with great guest conductors from around the country and get to know the amazing faculty at Marshall University.
