Lord Conyngham married Lady Jane Paget, daughter of Henry Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey, on 23 April 1824. They had six children: George Henry Conyngham, 3rd Marquess Conyngham (1825–1882) Lady Jane Conyngham (1826–1900), married Francis Spencer, 2nd Baron Churchill and had issue.
