Philip I of Namur. Philip as depicted on his seal. Philip I (1175 – 9 October 1212), called the Noble, was the margrave of Namur from 1195 until his death. He was the second son of Count Baldwin V of Hainault and Countess Margaret I of Flanders. His paternal grandmother was Alice of Namur .

Alice of Namur (died July 1169) was the wife of Baldwin IV, Count of Hainault. Her son was the heir of Namur when her brother Henry IV of Luxembourg died childless in 1196. Her parents were Godfrey I, Count of Namur and Ermesinde the daughter of Conrad I of Luxembourg. Her children with Baldwin IV of Hainaut were:
