Sir John Grey of Pirgo, Essex & Bradgate, Leics. (b. c. 1571 - dvp. 1611), was the eldest son of: Sir Henry Grey, 1st Baron Grey of Groby (d. 1614), and Anne, dau. of William Windsor. He was knighted in 1596, and later served as MP for Grampound in 1601 & Aldeburgh in 1610. Marriage. John's wife was Elizabeth Neville.
Lord John Grey (1523/24 – 19 November 1564) was an English nobleman and courtier of the Tudor period, who after 1559 was seated at Pirgo Place in Essex. Lord John was at one stage sentenced to death for his involvement in Wyatt's Rebellion against Queen Mary I , but was later released from attainder.
