Catherine Carey, after her marriage Catherine Knollys and later known as both Lady Knollys and Dame Catherine Knollys, (c. 1524 – 15 January 1569), was chief Lady of the Bedchamber to Queen Elizabeth I, who was her first cousin.
Biography. A younger son of the treasurer of Elizabeth’s Household, Knollys was also a nephew of the queen through his maternal grandmother, a sister of Anne Boleyn. Biografia. Francis, nacque nel 1514 e studiò all' Università di Oxford.
