Balancing the demands of Hunter College High School and personal life can be challenging; The Hunter College H.S. Counseling Services has clinical psychology fellows here to help students handle this stress and pressure successfully and constructively. At times, just talking can make a difference; while other times, more intervention is needed.
At Hunter College High School, the New York City Office of Pupil Transportation offers Full-Fare or Half-Fare MetroCards to our eligible students. HCHS distributes student MetroCards to eligible students at the beginning of each semester of the school year. Student MetroCards are distinct from MetroCards used by the general public.
Hunter College High School, administered by the City University of New York, is a highly successful, very selective school that prepares its students for the country's most elite colleges.
