11 de may. de 2021 · Performance and verdict. The EBS Stanley Clarke is an easy win. It takes a lot of the pain out of your sound. It's just so functional. You can set up one channel for plucking, the other for bowing, and seamlessly switch back and forth. Also, with a 10 Mohms impedance on both channels, it will serve more than just upright bass.
School Days is the third and final album in Stanley Clarke's great trio of progressive rock influenced fusion albums (Stanley Clarke, Journey to Love, School Days) that he released in the mid-70s. Although maybe not always quite as ambitious as the first two albums, School Days is probably the most mature and developed, making it the best of the three.
Life is Just a Game, is the big brassy grand finale, it’s time for the solos, Stanley Clarke opens his mouth and they all go for it. This is the dress to impress track, one to go out with a bang and they do but I’m not sure this showboating will have crossover appeal. Jazz fusion afficionados can have this one to themselves.
