헤세브라우바흐의 요한(John of Hesse-Braubach, 1609년 6월 17일, 다름슈타트 - 1651년 4월 1일, ems)은 독일의 귀족이자 장군이었다.그는 헤세-다름슈타트 가문에서 태어났고 후에 헤세-브라우바흐의 랜드그레이브가 되었다.

Marksburg Castle was turned into a hill fortress with artillery batteries and ramparts (this work mainly carried by John 'the Belligerent'). When the old German empire broke up in 1803 the castle passed into the hands of the Duchy of Nassau. During this period our castle was only used as a home for disabled soldiers and as a state prison.
