The Byrds est un groupe américain de rock originaire de Los Angeles, Californie. Le groupe est formé en 1964 , et disparait en 1973 . Durant sa décennie d'existence, il connaît de nombreux changements de musiciens ; le guitariste et chanteur Roger (Jim) McGuinn est le seul à en avoir toujours fait partie.
