21 de ene. de 2022 · Kevin Jarre The Man who Created Tombstone. By Henry C. Parke. Born in Detroit in 1954, Kevin Jarre had a tumultuous youth, which predestined him for a cinematic career. The son of gorgeous 1960s starlet Laura Devon, he lived first in Wyoming with his “Hemingwayesque” biological father, Cleland Boyd Clark, a rancher and fashion photographer.
Former actor Jarre found greater success writing screenplays, an early break coming after his work on Rambo (1985). He won widespread critical acclaim for the American civil war drama Glory (1989) and a thoughtful retelling of a familiar western story in Tombstone (1993).
