The title provides more than one play on words - Cynthia had been married to her third husband John Twist at the time - and late in her most recent work John she admits that the first memoir wasn't wholly her idea.

  6. I met Cynthia Lennon back in '94 at the Toronto Beatlerama. She was one of the guest speakers. I brought along my copy of "A Twist of Lennon" and, after waiting in line for about a half an hour, asked her to sign my paperback. I still treasure it to this day. I have read the book several times over the years (since 1978) and I really enjoy it.
