Henry Ulick Lascelles, 5th Earl of Harewood (21 August 1846 – 6 October 1929) Commander Frederick Canning Lascelles (6 May 1848 – 31 December 1928), married Frederica Maria Liddell, a granddaughter of Thomas Liddell, 1st Baron Ravensworth and had issue, including Sir Alan Lascelles.
Lascelles was the son of Henry Lascelles, 5th Earl of Harewood, and Lady Florence Bridgeman, daughter of Orlando Bridgeman, 3rd Earl of Bradford. He was born at the London home of his maternal grandfather, 43 Belgrave Square. In 1916, the vast fortune of his great uncle, the 2nd Marquess of Clanricarde, devolved upon Lascelles.
