Alicia Esther Lardé-López Harrison (Alicia Nash) nació en San Salvador en 1933 y falleció en 2015. Ingresó al Instituto Tecnológico de Massachusetts (MIT) en 1955 para estudiar física. Fue una de las pocas mujeres que estudiaron en el MIT en la década de 1950.

John Forbes Nash Jr., nació en Bluefield Sanatorium el 13 de junio de 1928 y fue bautizado en la Iglesia episcopaliana.
