Katharina Schratt, vor 1900. Katharina Schratt (* 11. September 1853 in Baden bei Wien, Kaisertum Österreich; † 17. April 1940 in Wien, Deutsches Reich) war eine österreichische Schauspielerin, die wegen ihrer langjährigen privaten Beziehung zu Kaiser Franz Joseph I. zum Thema von Literatur und Tratsch wurde.

Katharina Schratt was born in the small town of Baden, Austria, into a solid, middle-class family, in 1855, the daughter of a haberdasher. She first appeared on a stage when she was 11 years old, after persuading the father of a friend to give her a small part in a local production.
15 de abr. de 2021 · Katharina Schratt und Franz Joseph verstanden sich besonders auf seelischer Ebene. Franz Joseph kaufte ihr eine Villa in der Nähe der Sommerresidenz Schönbrunn. Auch in Bad Ischl – zur Sommerfrische – wollte er sie in seiner Nähe haben, und kaufte ihr dort die „Schratt-Villa“.
