It contains little comedy, except for free-standing one-liners, and no suspense, except for the timing of the obligatory reconciliation.

Echt grappig wordt het nergens en alleen de therapeutische sessies leveren nog wat komische situaties op. Van de acteurs zijn Vaughn en Akerman als echtpaar goed op dreef (en Kristen Bell ook), maar de andere acteurs nemen het allemaal iets te serieus.
