Jean Lannes (Lectoure, 10 aprile 1769 – Ebersdorf, 31 maggio 1809) è stato un generale francese, Maresciallo dell'Impero e duca di Montebello. Lannes fu uno degli uomini più fedeli a Napoleone, avendo lavorato al suo fianco a partire dai primi giorni della campagna d'Italia e seguendolo in tutte la campagne successive, sino alla sua prematura scomparsa.

Jean E. Lannes (born 21 September 1947 in Pauligne) is a French mathematician, specializing in algebraic topology and homotopy theory. Lannes completed his secondary studies at the Lycée Louis-le-Grand in Paris and graduated in 1966 from the École Normale Supérieure .
He is promoted to marshal on May 19, 1804. He is in command of the 5th corps during the 1805 Austrian campaign, and of the left wing at Austerlitz, on December 2nd. He takes part in the 1806 Prussian campaign and defeats Prince Ludwig of Prussia at Saalfeld. He is also at Jena (October 14, 1806), in command of the center of the Grande Armée.
