Koniecpolski, Stanisław, b 9 February 1591 in Koniecpol, Poland, d 12 March 1646 in Brody. Polish magnate and military figure. One of the largest landowners in Bratslav voivodeship, he was the Polish field hetman (1619–32), then grand hetman (from 1632). From 1625 he also headed the commission for the regulation of Cossack affairs.
