Heinrici, Gotthard. * 25. Dezember 1886, Gumbinnen. † 13. Dezember 1971, Endersbach. Gotthard Heinrici trat am 8. März 1905 als Fahnenjunker in die Königlich Preußische Armee ein. Er entstammte einer alten Soldatenfamilie und trat in das 6. Thüringisches Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 95 ein.
Na de oorlog werden Heinrici’s dagboeken en brieven verzameld in een boek getiteld getiteld Morals and behaviour here are like those in the Thirty Years’ War. The First Year of the German-Soviet War as Shown in the Papers of Gnl. Gotthard Heinrici. Hij werd ook prominent behandeld in The Last Battle (1966) door Cornelius Ryan.
