  3. 26 de oct. de 2023 · She was a daughter of Ernest Louis, Landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt (1667–1739) and his wife Dorothea Charlotte (1661–1705), daughter of Albrecht II, Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach. On 6 October 1720 she became engaged to Maximilian of Hesse-Kassel (1689–1753), marrying him on 28 November 1720 in Darmstadt.

Friederike was born in Darmstadt, the eldest daughter of Prince George William of Hesse-Darmstadt, second son of Louis VIII, Landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt, and Countess Maria Louise Albertine of Leiningen-Falkenburg-Dagsburg. She married Duke Charles of Mecklenburg-Strelitz on 18 September 1768 in Darmstadt. [1] They had ten children together.
