Bertolt Brecht (Eugen Berthold Friedrich Brecht; Augsburg, 10. februar 1898 – Istočni Berlin, 14. august 1956) bio je njemački dramatičar, pjesnik i pripovjedač. Biografija. Studirao je prirodne nauke i medicinu u Minhenu, ali se ubrzo posvetio pozorištu. Nakon dolaska nacista na vlast 1933., odlazi u inostranstvo.
