Tras rodar cortometrajes realizó telefilms en su país natal a mediados de los años 70 antes de iniciarse en el cine con una película titulada “En Kille Och En Tjej” (1975) que estaba co-escrita con su habitual colaborador, el también actor Brasse Brännströmm.
