On 6 October 1577 she married John George (1525–1598), in Jagdschloss Letzlingen. Her husband was almost 40 years older than she was. Elisabeth was his third wife, and was 16 years younger than her stepson Joachim Frederick. The marriage was celebrated without many festivities, and Elizabeth was promised 400 guilders annually as her dower.
Anna Maria was a daughter of the John George, Elector of Brandenburg (1525–1598), from his second marriage to Sabina of Brandenburg-Ansbach (1548–1575), daughter of the George, Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach . In 1580, she was engaged to Barnim X, Duke of Pomerania of Pomerania and on 8 January 1581, she married him in Berlin.
Sabina von Brandenburg-Ansbach was born 12 May 1529 in Ansbach to Georg der Fromme von Brandenburg-Ansbach-Kulmbach (1484-1543) and Hedwig von Münsterberg-Öls (1508-1531) and died 2 November 1575 Krossen on Oder of unspecified causes.

Sabina av Brandenburg-Ansbach, född 12 maj 1529 i Ansbach, död 2 november 1575 i Berlin, var kurfurstinna av Brandenburg, gift 1548 med kurfurst Johan Georg av Brandenburg. [ 4 ] Hon var dotter till markgreve Georg av Brandenburg-Ansbach (1484–1543) i hans andra äktenskap med Hedvig av Münsterberg (1508–1531), dotter till hertig Karl I av Münsterberg .
Anna Maria was brought up as a Lutheran and on 24 February 1544 became the wife of Christoph, Duke of Württemberg. She later acted as guardian to her son Ludwig III, Duke of Württemberg early in his reign. After the death of her husband Christoph she lived more than 20 years in the Nürtingen castle, she died in Nürtingen.
