Cicely (or Cecily) Neville, was one of the vast brood of children of Ralph Neville, Earl of Westmorland, by his second wife, Joan, daughter of John of Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster. Cicely was born and brought up in the great Neville stronghold of Raby Castle, Durham.
She was the daughter of Henry Neville, 7th Lord Abergavenny and Lady Mary Sackville. She married FitzWilliam Coningsby, son of Sir Thomas Coningsby and Phillipa Fitzwilliam, on 12 July 1617 at St. Alphage, London, England. She died after 1652. He was the son of Henry Neville, 2nd Baron Abergavenny [E. 1604] Henry Neville and Catherine Vaux. He married Elizabeth Chamberlaine, daughter of John Chamberlaine and Katharine Plowden.
