Walter Philip Alexander (9 February 1849 - 30 October 1934), a lieutenant colonel in the 2nd Dragoons (Royal Scots Greys) who served in the Second Boer War from 1899 to 1900 and married Margaret Katherine Grimston (who died 12 September 1929), daughter of Rev. the Hon. Francis Grimston, son of James Walter Grimston, 1st Earl of Verulam, and had issue.

27 de abr. de 2019 · James Walter Grimston, 1st Earl of Verulam was born on 26 September 1775. 2 He was the son of James Bucknall Grimston, 3rd Viscount Grimston and Harriot Walter. 3 He married Lady Charlotte Jenkinson, daughter of Charles Jenkinson, 1st Earl of Liverpool and Catherine Bishopp, on 11 August 1807. 4 He died on 17 November 1845 at age 70. 2.
