28 de oct. de 2003 · Of the 14 Holmes 'films' this is my preference ( S. H. Faces Death ). Reasoning based on the sets, supporting actors, plots, and reliable efforts by Bruce and Rathbone. I will add that all these films are thoroughly enjoyable while suitable for family viewing.

Now, Sherlock Holmes Faces Death, is my new favorite entry in the Rathbone/Bruce saga. It features a strong mystery, wonderful cinematography and outstanding performances all around. One advantage that this movie has is that it was adapted from a story in the Holmes canon by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, The Adventure of the Musgrave Ritual.
