Students are expected to be on the school site by 8:30 AM every day, so they can go to their teaching room or form room for a prompt start every day. We operate a week timetable and each lesson is one hour long. Students may not leave the school site at break time or lunch times. School finishes at 3:10pm every day. TIMINGS OF THE DAY.
We have a number of buses that service our school. You can view all routes on the Brighton and Hove bus company website. Mr Hart is our Transport Liaison between the bus company and school. At Cardinal Newman Catholic School, we have a uniform that is practical and affordable. School uniform is compulsory for Years 7-11. CNCS has an excellent reputation for behaviour and by wearing the uniform correctly and conducting themselves well in public, students can continue to contribute positively to that reputation.
