Roger Pope, a British rock session and touring drummer passed away at South Hampton General Hospital in Southampton, England after a long battle with cancer. Pope was playing drums in bands by his mid-teens and working as a session musician. He joined the band Soul Agents who produced a huge hit in 1964 called 'I Just Want to Make Love to You'.
