We have two methods to get a close value. The actual formula is mi = km * 0.62137119 but our methods are easier to do in your head. The first method is to multiply the kilometres value by 0.6. The second, more accurate method, is to multiply the kilometers value by 2 and then divide by 3. Worked Example: 1 kilometer x 0.6 = 0.6 miles.
