the john byrd e.p. is the new 7-track CD-EP, featuring live tracks taken from the 2004 spring transatlanticism tour. Recorded by the bearded and mysterious DCfC touring sound guy, John Byrd, and guitarist/producer Chris Walla, the 7 tracks include songs spanning the band's career (as well as the never-before-released cover of Sebadoh's brand new love) and some hilarious between-song banter.

Death Cab for Cutie ist eine US-amerikanische Indie-Rock -Band, die 1997 in Bellingham, Washington gegründet wurde. Die Band wurde seit 2006 bereits mehrmals für die Grammy Awards in verschiedenen Kategorien, u. a. Best Rock Album nominiert. [1] Der Bandname stammt vom gleichnamigen Song der britischen Underground-Beatband Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band.
I happen to amass a huge amount of Death Cab for Cutie albums in my iTunes library but I have a habit of listening to them on Spotify if I have wifi to support them. I was itching to listen to the John Byrd EP but found out that Spotify didn't have the EP amidst having (among other things) a various amount of singles of the past and the Rolling stones acoustic performance!
