Boraqchin Khatun was an Alchi Tatar woman. She was the chief or senior wife of Batu Khan, and probably the mother of Sartaq Khan.In 1257, she served as regent of the Golden Horde on behalf of Ulaghchi, who was Sartaq's son and probably her grandson.
That is not an argument. Junior Juz's endoetnonym is Alshyn, and their ancestor is relative of Borakchin Khatun(from Alchi tribe) by shejire. Y DNA allegedly supports it because it shows that North Eastern populations along with certain clans of Kalmyks share ancestry with Alshyns within 10-11 century period.
