20 de abr. de 2017 · Klara Hitler, nee Pozl, was 29. She was a dutiful homemaker to her much older husband Alois — first, years earlier, as his maid, and then later, as his third wife.
Klara Hitler was buried on a misty, foggy December day in the cemetery at Leonding, next to her husband. The cemetery also contained her son Edward, Adolf's younger brother, who had died from measles at age six. The next day, Christmas Eve, Hitler and his sisters paid a visit to Dr. Bloch and settled the medical bill.
Hitler had a good relationship with his mother during her lifetime. He was distraught by her death and possibly grieved for the rest of his life. Speaking of Hitler, Bloch later recalled that after Klara's death he had never seen "anyone so prostrate with grief". Hitler wrote years later that his mother's death was a "dreadful blow".
