  5. 10 de ene. de 2023 · Dr Challoner’s High School. Dr Challoner’s High School is an all-girls selective grammar school in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. Awarded the 2014 Exceptional Schools Award, the school is reputed as one of English’s leading secondary schools, almost always in the top 50 within national league tables.

  6. 2024 marks the 400th anniversary of Dr Challoner's Grammar School (DCGS) which was founded in 1624. As this book illustrates, DCGS has kept true to the vision of its founder, Robert Chaloner, through offering an excellent education to local students. The anniversary book documents the amazing history of DCGS.

  7. Dr Challoner’s was grant aided by the Board of Education until 1937, and then became a maintained County Grammar School. In the early 1960s, the pressure for more grammar school places in the district became so great that the decision was made to build a new school in Little Chalfont, solely for girls, and Dr Challoner’s Grammar School would revert to boys only.
