23 de jul. de 2021 · The 10th of 13 children, Marvin Thomas Posey, Sr. was born August 9, 1942, to the union of Thursa ‘Sonny Boy’ Posey and Velma Ruth Frazier in Westfield, AL. Although four older sisters and four older brothers preceded him in death, he loved life and always willingly shared with others how blessed he was because of how good God was to him.
Revolutionary War general Thomas Posey (1750-1818) lived his life against the backdrop of one of the most dramatic periods in American history. Posey, who played a minor role in the actual War for Independence, went on to participate in the development and foundation of several states in the transappalachian West.
