John Quincy Adams, född 11 juli 1767 i Quincy, Massachusetts, död 23 februari 1848, var en amerikansk politiker; senator 1803, utrikesminister 1817–1825, president 1825–1829 och ledamot av representanthuset 1831–1848. Han var äldste son till president John Adams och Abigail Adams, och farfar till historikern Brooks Adams .

John Quincy Adams indtrådte i 1803 i Senatet som føderalist, men støttede senere den antibritiske politik under præsident Jefferson. I årene 1794-1817 var han amerikansk diplomat i en række europæiske lande, bl.a. Preussen, Holland, Rusland og Storbritannien. Som udenrigsminister i 1817-1825 stod Adams bag Monroedoktrinen i 1823.
