William Henry Hartnell (* 8. Januar 1908, St. Pancras, London; † 23. April 1975, Marden, Kent) war ein englischer Theater- und Filmschauspieler Von 1963 bis 1966 spielte er den Ersten Doctor. 1972 übernahm er diese Rolle zum 10jährigen Bestehen der Serie noch einmal.
