Around 1999-2000 Geoff Zanelli went freelance as a composer. [5] He wrote music for movies alongside Hans Zimmer then ended up working on movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean. [6] He worked on The Last Samurai, Pearl Harbor and Rango . The first film he scored on his own was an indie film in 2005 called House of D by David Duchovny.
