Damsels in Distress (littéralement « demoiselles en détresse ») est un film américain écrit et réalisé par Whit Stillman. D'abord présenté en septembre 2011 à la Mostra de Venise , puis au Festival international du film de Toronto , il sort en salles en 2012 [ 1 ] .

8 de ene. de 2023 · Damsel in Distress Meaning: A princess or maiden in need of rescuing by a gallant knight. Cannot help or save herself, which is why she desperately needs a man (classically in a suit of armor) to come to her rescue. A dragon or some other type of beast has to be slain in order to successfully rescue the damsel.
These relationships seem innocuous but prove to be possibly lethal to the girl's unbreakable bond together and this is what, sort of, gets the film on its feet. Damsels in Distress seems like a satire lost at sea. It's satirizing, or attempting to, Ivy League life and the strange quirks it possesses.
