El objeto de análisis de este trabajo han sido los escritos económicos del ministro de Hacienda de Gran Bretaña George Grenville y su circulación a través de Francia y España, destacándose el papel «mediador» que en este segundo país desempeñó Domingo Marcoleta, el traductor de sus escritos.

George Grenville, best known as the driving political force behind the Stamp Act, was born October 14, 1712, the son of Richard Grenville, a Buckinghamshire member of Parliament, and Hester Temple. His elder brother was Richard, Earl Temple. He was educated at Eton; Christ College, Oxford; and the Inner Temple.
George Grenville (14 October 1712–13 November 1770) was Prime Minister of Great Britain. He was a member of the Whig Party. He was one of the few prime ministers who never was given a title of nobility. Grenville was the second son of Richard Grenville and Hester Temple. His older brother was Richard Grenville-Temple.

George Grenville Academy and Nursery is situated in the beautiful market town of Buckingham and takes children from 2 to 11 years old. There are currently 180 pupils on roll.
