Her god-son - Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales (b.1948) said that Patricia "played an extremely important part in his life" and "would miss her presence most dreadfully” .

The Rt Hon. Wilfrid William Ashley, 1st Lord Mount Temple (1867-1939) and Miss Amalia Mary Maud 'Maudie' Cassel (1879-1911).
