Yakym Semyonovich Somko (Joakim Somko, Samko, Pereyaslav - 18 de septiembre [28], 1663, Borzna) - Coronel Pereyaslav, nombrado hetman del Ejército Zaporizhzhya en la orilla izquierda de Ucrania desde 1659 hasta 1663.
1661-63: Somko and the Starshina: In 1660 the left-bank Cossacks deposed Yurii Khmelnytsky because of the Polish alliance and made Yakym Somko the Acting Hetman. Yurii held on to the right bank, effectively partitioning the country. Somko favored the upper class, provoking the opposition of the Zaporozhians under Briukhovetsky.
