Raoul I of Lusignan or Raoul I de Lusignan (1160 or 1164/1165 – Acre, Palestine, 1217 or Melle[disambiguation needed], May 1, 1219), was the second son of Hugues de Lusignan, Co-Seigneur de Lusignan in 1164 (c. 1141 - 1169), and wife, married before 1162, Orengarde N, who died in 1169, and grandson of Hugh VIII.

Raoul est le petit-fils d' Hugues VIII de Lusignan (v. 1097-ap. 1171). Le décès de son père intervient peu d'années après sa naissance. Son éducation et la régence sont assurés par sa grand-mère Bourgogne de Rancon et surtout par son oncle Geoffroy I er de Lusignan. Raoul reçoit, en apanage, les châteaux de Civray, Benet et Chizé [5].
