26 de abr. de 2022 · Zinaida Lvovna Volkova (née Bronstein; Russian: Зинаи́да Льво́вна Во́лкова; March 27, 1901 – January 5, 1933) was a Russian Marxist. She was Leon Trotsky's first daughter by his first wife, Aleksandra Sokolovskaya. She and her younger sister Nina were raised by their paternal grandparents after their parents divorced.
His first wife Aleksandra Sokolovskaya had remained behind, with their two daughters, and they were divorced soon thereafter. Natalia and Trotsky married in 1903. They had two children together, Lev Sedov (24 February 1906 – 16 February 1938) and Sergei Sedov (21 March 1908 – 29 October 1937), both of whom would predecease their parents.

Sokolovskaya raised her granddaughter, Aleksandra, from 1932 to 1935 after the latter's mother, Zinaida Volkova, was allowed to leave the country in 1931 and her father, Zakhar Moglin, was arrested in 1932. According to the family, Sokolovskaya was an educator and was close to Lenin's widow, Nadezhda Krupskaya, in the early 1930s.
